MORRIS PLAINS BOARD OF EDUCATION
MORRIS PLAINS BOROUGH SCHOOL WINDOW, DOOR AND SECURITY VESTIBULE RENOVATIONS

The Morris Plains Board of Education completed a window replacement project at Borough School as part of their September 2016 referendum.  The original building was built in the 1920, with a major addition in 1950 and the 1990’s.  Previous window replacements resulted in a combination of double hung windows and insulated panels.  The window replacement was completed with window units composed of reinforced fiberglass units (Kalwall) and project out windows.  The translucent panels diffuse light into the room, and offer greater insulating values than the traditional insulated glass window units.  The new window configuration provides a uniform appearance and updated look to the building.
