TOWNSHIP OF WOODBRIDGE
HICKORY SENIOR CENTER RENOVATION

Settembrino Architects was hired by the Township of Woodbridge to provide a feasibility study and complete construction documents to convert the former St. John’s First Aid Building into a Township Senior Center. The Township would like to convert the current one story building with a partial basement and the adjacent one story Women’s Club of Ford’s Building into a Senior Center with an addition for the Women’s Club. As the Women’s Club Building would be demolished, Settembrino Architects would provide an architectural site plan with a proposed parking layout and ingress/egress as well. Both an exterior and interior building evaluation would be performed to determine both life cycle and code compliance required updates, renovations, or facility modifications.

The schematic design options include new barrier free building access, new toilet rooms, a new prep kitchen, and a women’s club addition. Additionally, the existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and information technology system will be repaired/upgraded/replaced. As-Built plans include plans, elevations and equipment information.

COMPLETION DATE:  2019
CONSTRUCTION VALUE: $1.6M
