NEW BUS GARAGE

The Branchburg School District hired Settembrino Architects to design a new bus maintenance garage. The District is currently utilizing a vehicle maintenance Garage owned by the Township of Branchburg which is a one bay garage that does not provide the space and number of bays required for maintenance on the bus fleet.

The new proposed building is a one story, three bay garage with break room and toilet facilities for the bus drivers and the mechanics. Open storage space will be provided in the mezzanine area located above the support spaces. The new building will be located adjacent to the existing Old York School on an existing paved area. An office area for the transportation department is included as an add alternate to the new building.

The proposed design will accommodate the possibility of new additions to the building in the future if desired.
