SHORE REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT
GYMNASIUM RENOVATION

As the wood floor of the main 9,000 square foot gymnasium at the Shore Regional High School had been plagued by water damage and excessive ‘dead spots’ over the years, SRHS Board of Education hired Settembrino Architects to select and design a new wood floor. Working closely with the administration and staff, we selected a high performance wood floor and addressed any concrete slab subfloor issues to provide the players with a world-class sports surface. Subfloor ventilation and threshold transitions were addressed and designed to provide a seamless removal and renovation process. The Board selected a custom logo that was included in the project as well.
