MORRIS PLAINS BOROUGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM RENOVATIONS

The Morris Plains School District hired Settembrino Architects to complete a district wide Facility Condition Assessment. This resulted in a successful $6M Referendum. Among the proposed recommendations was the renovation of the Auditorium at the Morris Plains Borough School. Improvements included the removal and installation of new carpeting, the repair and refinishing of the existing stage flooring, and reupholstering the existing Auditorium seating on both the main floor as well as the balcony seating area. New perimeter lighting and ceiling lighting pendants were installed as will new acoustical ceiling and wall panels. The balcony received a much-needed updated facade. The stage will receive a new curtain and Stage Lighting/Controls. Interior Renovations are required for ADA Platforms, among other improvements.
